alfalfa for N scavenging

Folks: I've had a request from a local supplier of bottled water for
the name of a N-scavenging alfalfa cultivar. Apparently, there is a
cultivar of alfalfa which has been bred to be unable to fix its own
N, and which this firm would like to use to reduce potential risk of
N contamination in the water they sell. Interesting idea, but I've
no knowledge of such a cultivar - can anyone help, with a name and
perhaps a supplier? Thanks in advance. Ann
