Sawdust in the garden

Another thing to consider is the type of tree(s) from which the sawdust
came. My Dad
put a large amount of sawdust from black walnut in his garden and
started to have
toxicity effects from the tannic acid in the sawdust (at least according
to the ag.
extension agent). It took a couple of years to leach out.

This
stable uses sawdust for bedding the horses and so the "manure" is at
least
50% sawdust. Can I disc it into our vegetable plots and expect good
results next growing season? We live in S.E. Ohio and normally have very

wet winter and spring.
