You go, girl!
Sounds like Dale has a one dimensional view of sexuality- sees it only
as s-e-x. Most men are goal oriented- as opposed to women- process
oriented.
The application of scientific research to male potency is business as
usual. An indication of this is, no matter what else these scientists
do, they'll always be remembered as the ones who made Viagra possible.
This whole thing takes the collusion of women to operate. Sadly enough,
most women are hooked into the male dominant system. And, when women
become goal oriented, they're called the "D" or "B" words. And when men
are process oriented, there's even more derogatory words for them.
So what does this have to do with Sustainable Ag? Everything. More women
are entering agriculture now than ever before. And SA requires a
nurturing, not a conquering, approach. We need to turn our research and
hearts toward a society that embraces rather than ridicules. And we need
to do the same in the microcosm of agriculture.
So, I say, "You go girl!" We need more of us saying, "The emperor has no
clothes." (Or is it "... no erection?")
