I have a paperback copy of SuperMoney that is falling apart because of being
read so much (it's very funny as well as very thought provoking). I can't
offhand find the page with ISBN number and publication date, etc. But I did
find your quote on page 271, the first page I turned to. Smith says
sociologist Daniel Yankelovich called it the "[Robert] McNamara fallacy." A
little later he quotes DY again:

"It is as if the great victories in succeeding centuries won by Protestantism,
individualism, rationalism, science and industrialization all were gained at a
terrible cost - the sacrifice of community."

By the way, I have tried everywhere here to find another copy of this book, no
luck, if anyone out there knows where I can get one, please let me know.

As he ends this book, the author of The Money Game as well as SuperMoney,
writes "If you are still for the Game, why may you prosper; I wish you the
joys of it."
