Hi Ernie. I think flaming is better than herbicides, because propane is
what is burned and I understand there are no toxic waste products from
burning it. CO2 is a by-product, but it's questionable whether CO2
threatens the environment. An investment newsletter called Taipan said
recently, if I understood it properly, that El Ninos occur every few
decades, the warming they bring cause above normal rainfall and the
rainfall causes more CO2 to become absorbed by the rocks of the world's
many mountain ranges, and this drop in CO2 in the air brings below
normal temperatures the next few years. Another theory I've read
recently is Richard Hoagland's article on hyperdimensional physics at
www.enterprisemission.com/hyper1.html, I think, if it's still posted. He
says El Ninos actually are heated from below, not from above, which
means that CO2 in the air does not affect them significantly. El Ninos
are unusually high heating of the central Pacific Ocean. He says the
cause of the interior heating appears to be similar to tidal effects
from positions of planets or to sunspot activity and solar flares. He
predicts that solar activity will be on the increase in the next few
years and CO2 cannot be a cause of that. The super rich like to keep
secrets from the public and hyperdimensional physics is one of the most
important secrets, which the rest of us need to learn about. I don't
mean to suggest that I have no respect for the greenhouse theory, but I
do find it less convincing than these others. As for safe herbicides,
there's also vinegar and citric acid. I think they're safe. Aloha. Lloyd
