I'll put it this way. I subscribed to the SANET list to get
information/viewpoints on practices for maintaining soil quality,
growing plants without chemicals, keeping the earth productive without
abusing it, or even rebuilding it to leave it in better condition than I
found it. If I had wanted to read about race relations, gender/sexual
orientation issues, justice for all, etc., I would have joined a list
that covers that. We are all interconnected, and I am perfectly willing
to accept others regardless of their differences as long as they don't
interfere directly with me. BUT, newsgroup and e-mail etiquette
generally dictates that a contributor should stay with the DIRECT theme
of the group and not go into other areas that aren't connected in a very
obvious way. I expect to find only SANET items in my SANET mail, and I
would very much like to keep it that way.
