Greetings all,
I had the same problem with lilacs when I lived on Central California
coast. Part of the problem is wrong plant in the wrong place! Plant
things that like the environment they're in and there should be no
problems, because the plants aren't stressed.
What I used to control powdery mildew was VERY strong camomile tea. It
kept the fungus down to a dull roar, but never completely got it licked
- because of coastal fog (it's the environment!)
good luck,
diane
