Permaculture has much to offer in terms of inexpensive, easy-to create
greywater filtration systems, including many books and schematics.
May I recommend consulting the permaculture listserv where many folks will be
able to help you out. permaculture@listserv.oit.unc.edu is the address. You
might want to check out An Introduction to Permaculture by Bill Mollison.
In Australia, there is a permaculture demonstration site called Crystal Waters
that specializes in grey and blackwater filtration and recycling using cheap,
locally-available materials.
