30,000 Loofahs

We have at least 30,000 organically grown Loofahs, most of which are or will
be large. (I say will be, because size relates to rainfall and the rains
came late this season, still in progress).

I'm told retting is unwise relative to ensuring the best possible appearance
of the product, but that machinery has been developed for this task? Any
info?
