The many who have voiced their suspicions that the BDA's recent move to
Northern California signalled their final abandonment of the
food-for-humanity three-fold concepts of the Northeastern CSA movment and
their full embrace of the values inherent in what another publication
called "the $500,000,000 landrush caused by the State of California's
mandate that ALL vineyards must be ORGANIC by the year 2003" will find
little solace in an article on Fox Creek's biodynamic vineyard in this
week's NEWSWEEK magazine which refers to biodynamics as 'a form of
viticulture' and makes no mention whatsoever of Steiner's preps.
