Getting practical

I had a couple ideas to inject more practicality into Sanet discussion:

1. Periodically discuss a published paper concerning some technical
aspect of production. I'll bet that if we approached publications such
as "American J. of Alternative Agric." or "Crop Science", they would let
Sanet post the full text of an occasional paper. Even if they didn't,
many of you have access to ag journals via a local library. List
members could critique the paper and discuss their own experience with
the technology.

2. Identify a practical topic of interest, say, once a month. Find an
expert, invite them onto the list temporarily (unless they are already
here), and have them post an essay about a particular technology. List
members could relate their own experiences with the topic, and ask
questions about it.
