Daniel Quinn's books

I would like to have a discussion with anyone out there that has read one
or more of Daniel Quinn's books: Ishmael, My Ishmael, and Story of B. I
have read the last and am about to finish the first. We could take this
off of SANET if you wish, since it has required reading. I am certain it
will offend many on the list, because it brings to question the very
foundation of agriculture and its place in history, ecology etc.

Not sure how many are ready for this, emotionally, spiritually, etc. I am
not being a snob her. But no one should engage this unless they are ready
to question everything and keep dogma and religion out of it.

I obviously think the discussion is important. I have another controversy
I wish to discuss, but I will wait to see if this one stirs up interest first.
