There is just one small problem with that overall philosophy: At the
rate we are breaking things (and using them up), we don't have that much
time left. "Global civilization" will collapse in on itself like a dying
star running out of fuel in another two generations (and I am being
conservative with that estimate) unless we find a way to stop the overuse
and abuse of our tiny little planet real soon.
