Howdy, all--

Ernie Lowe and several others have asked me:

The case study in question is the Krusenbaum dairy farm in Elkhorn,
WI. The Krusenbaums took this farm from a conventional, dairy/cash
grain, confinement-based operation to an organic, grazing-based,
seasonal (or close to it) operation.

To learn more, go to CIAS's Web site:

http://www.wisc.edu/cias/pubs/resbrief/index.html

and look at /Research Briefs/ 16 and 17.

There is also a forthcoming article on this project, slated for the
up and coming issue of the /Journal of Alternative Agriculture/,
which is apparently in the pipeline even as I type.
