Hi,

Greetings from the Lightstone Foundation in Moyers, WV. We are a
farm demonstration center with several community outreach porgrams and are
searching for the means that will allow people to stay on the land and make
a decent livelyhood while at the same time preserving the integrity of the
landscape.

I am looking for information on calamus, sweet sedege. In
particular information on the growth of this plant on an
agricultural/commercial scale as well as harvesting and processing methods.
Any information on this would be greatly appreciated.

I am also looking for information concerning riparian buffer zones,
in partucular - ideas on protecting these from cattle grazing (living
fences) and setting up a plant community which would aid in the income of
small farmers.

Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,
Dave Fazzino
