Dear Mr. Rombough,
My name is Douglas N. MacBean, and I work in the equity analyst division of
BancAmerica Robertson Stephens in San Francisco. One of the projects on
which I am currently working involves the analysis of the fruit and
vegetable industries. While I have found ERS, USDA, and NASS to be helpful,
I have also found their information inadequate because of their infrequent
release dates. My question for you is whether you know of any people,
places, or websites I could contact in order to obtain more regular
information regarding crop yields, production, etc.
ANY suggestions, advice, or information you can provide me will be
