One small thought on markets for alternative food. One of my customers
who is starting a table grape vineyard already grows other organic fruit
and he sells directly to restuarants and hotels in the area. People who
taste the fruit in the restuarants want to buy it and his market has
expanded to all he can handle, with demand for a lot more. Sometimes
this kind of market is the most effective way for someone just starting
who expects to expand - nothing sells like getting the cutomer to know
how GOOD the produce is. Simplistic, but effective.
