Rodale Institute is pleased to offer the following workshops this summer
at its Experimental Farm outside Kutztown, PA.
July 22. Organic Grain Production workshop. With organic soybeans
selling for up to $25/bushel, now is the time to change! Hear talks,
see demonstrations and meet vendors covering all aspects of producing
and marketing organic grains. Cosponsored by Clarkson Grains and
Fertrell Fertilizer. 8:30am to 4pm. Fee: $70.
July 30. Third Annual Compost Field Day. Equipment demonstrations and
experts' lectures will cover compost production in the morning and focus
on compost use in the afternoon. Demonstrators include Sandberger and
Wilcat turners, Retech and Satellite screens, Royer shredder, Bull Hog
brush shredder, and Mill Creek compost and mulch applicators. Panel of
end-users will discuss lawncare, nursery and greenhouse applications.
9am to 4pm. Fee:$40 for half day, $70 for full day.
