How does the USDA protect their organic growers from pesticide drift. They
don't. Ask the pecock farmer!
have you gotten any help from the leapold center in Iowa? How about co-op
frontier or any of the Iowa organic certifiers. they been taking our money
for years they should be of some help.of course the certifiers could not
help the folks that the state of Ca. and the USDA sprayed with melithon for
the fruit fly. how many of the folks that got sprayed are still organic .
None they all quit being organic because they got no help from anyone as
far as keeping their organicness and the folks that have been taking their
money for years . so I guess the USDA are not the ones that control drift
rules except to kick out organic growers that have been drifted upon. They
drift pesticides on grade schools in our lakes in our parks every where.
See if you can get the news from that city just north of Santa Barbara . I
forget the name it may be San Louis Opisple or something like that were the
whole town is saying quit spraying our kids. Test show the whold town is
sicker than else where because of pesticides. Most farmers spray from fence
post to fence post and care little that a grade school is just on the other
side of the fence or an organic grower or what ever. and once again
organic food proves to be safer..
