According to an online report by the World Wildlife Fund - Canada, the
hormone disruptor, ''Hexachlorobenzene is a known or suspected
by-product used in the manufacture of 20 pesticides including atrazine
and simazine.''

Also, according to the Right to Know Net search of the 1995 Toxic
Release Inventory file, the toxic herbicide ATRAZINE, which has been
linked been both linked to breast cancer and identified as a hormone
disruptor in laboratory animals is being manufactured by Nutrite
Corporation in Swanton, Vermont. See below. I don't know how long the
manufacturer has been in Vermont, but could this be the reason the crop
dusting episode did not make your local papers?

I know in Louisana, possibly the most corrupt state in the nation, the
media protects polluters, especially when chemical companies manufacture
pesticides. I pray that is not the case in Vermont.
