The Missouri Alternatives Center (MAC), Cooperative Extension with the
University of Missouri, would like to announce it's new links page at its
website: http://www.ext.missouri.edu/agebb/mac
Essentially, I have been searching the web for extension information
on alternatives in agriculture since the web came to campus. I have
collected those sites and have put them as links from my website. So,
for example, if you have a request for information on ginseng, go to
my site, click on "Extension Information on Alternatives", click on
"G" and you can print off any of 5 different extension guidesheets on
ginseng. Or pick another topic, let's say, hydroponics, deer,
rabbits, community supported agriculture or .... Check each letter,
I'm sure you'll be pleasantly pleased at what's out there!
By all means, this is not a complete listing of all guidesheets that
are on the web, but it is a start. If anyone knows of any sites or if
you come across any sites while doing searches on the web and feel
that it is a site that could be added, please email me the address and
I'll see that it gets added. And also, if anyone who has expertise on
any topics that are on the links pages and you feel that any of the
guidesheets are not appropriate, please let me know that as well.
I hope that this addition to the MAC website will help you in
providing the information needed for your clients. If you have any
