Instruction will be offered by some of the most progressive architects
and experienced straw builders in the nation, including Ken Haggard,
Polly Cooper, and Bob Theis. Many more straw professionals are expected.
This special weekend is part of the Cal Poly Permaculture and Ecological
Design Series coordinated by Akiva Werbalowsky, Julian Kayne, and senior
Permaculture designer Larry Santoyo.
Only about 20 spaces remain and registration is only $98 ($49 for each
day) Saturday will be mostly instruction, slides, and discussion.
Sunday will also include hands-on activities building with straw bale
alongside experienced others.
