I'm interested in corresponding directly with grad students at sustainable
ag/rural sociology/rural development grad programs around the country,
particularly UC-Davis, Cornell, Penn State, NC State University,
UW-Madison, and University of Minnesota.
My interests are consumer perceptions, ag marketing, the concept of locally
grown and how consumers respond to it, and subscription farming (not
necessarily CSA). I'd be grateful for some first-hand insights into the
department offerings of different schools; I'm in the process of hammering
out my own inter-disciplinary degree program and would like to know how
others of you out there meet similar academic goals. Any takers, please
