metals, other toxics in animal manures?

Some of the comments, by the sewage sludge industries, into the record
at the USDA website for the National Organic Program, say that there
have been lots of studies on sewage sludge with regard to heavy metals,
but nothing on animal manures.

Granted, with sewage sludge corporate America and households dump toxic
products down the drain and these poisons are very likely to be found in
the toxic sludge. However, what synthethic substances that may also
contain heavy metals, such as arsenic, are give to livestock and why?

I know that this is a sustainable farming list, but certainly some of
you may have been conventional farmers at one time.
