Bill is correct in saying that organic regulations can't solve the underlying
long-term problems of the food system. However, I'd put the Titanic
analogy a little differently--it's more like putting a few extra lifeboats on
the ship. We still have to keep working on a better way to move people
around, but at least in the meantime we can minimize the damage.
