RESEARCH STUDENTSHIP

DETAILS

A MAFF funded research studentship is available for postgraduate research
commencing in October 1998 on one of the following topics:

(a) WTO, standards and trade in food products
(b) Strategic interactions in the UK food industry: implications for
agriculture
(c) The economic cost of animal welfare improvements.
(d) An assessment of the impact of CAP reforms on farm business viability
in the UK

The research award is available for two years in the first instance with
possible extension to a third year. The successful candidate will register
for the MPhil or PhD degree.

APPLICATION

Candidates should preferably possess a Masters degree in Agricultural
Economics or Economics or Econometrics. Letters of application with full
