possible) training and/ or study tours, designed based on the
agreed upon objectives. A preliminary needs assessment
discussion with APIP Staff ( via fax, Internet or phone) will be
conducted ASAP to determine the specific training objectives
and the most appropriate training activities. Based on those
needs assessment discussions, the training activities will be
modified to reflect the specific needs of APIP staff.
The dates for the training programs will be determined by
mutual agreement beginning June 1998.
The APIP project has stated they will provide interpreter(s).
Most of the participants will speak only Arabic. Translation of
materials should be provided in your budget estimate if
determined as appropriate.
