Many thanks to all of you who have responded to my request for
information, resources and contacts regarding alternative commercial
poultry production for the Eastern Shore of MD. I am compiling responses
and will post for others who are interested. As I haven't been long on
this list I wanted to check my Netiquette first. I was going to indicate
the name and email address of the responding party and the salient parts
of their message including names and addresses of contacts. Anyone have
a problem with this? I did get one comment from someone who would prefer
not tho have their name posted.
Let me know how best to proceed. I feel that providing a summary is the
least one can do when getting such great assistance for free. In the
mean time, anyone else with thoughts about how we might proceed with
talking to growers, environmentalists and local community officials
about poultry production that builds rather than streesses the
community, please drop me a line.
