There are a couple of people in India who have been working on
vermi-composting for a while. They are sure to have info on
vermicomposting, including the economics of it (in the Indian Farming
Conditions) They are:

2) Prof: Sultan Ismail
(center for biological studies..?)

Madras, India
Dr. Uday has been marketing commercial vermicompost in and around Pune in
Maharashtra District in India for the past few years.
Dr. Ismail has been helping farmers in making vermi-compost in-situ using
local earthworms..
