choosing land

I'd like to get some advice about choosing land for production of organic
produce and meat. Please tell me- what have been the worst problems for
your operation? Have you (or others you know) had problems with power
companies spraying herbicides where your animals are pastured. Are your
roads too bad to carry a truckload of produce without bruising it, or
without getting stuck in the mud?

We are planning our farm and wish to avoid as many problems as we can, so
we are starting at the beginning- what should we avoid?

I'd appreciate any advice from you.
