I read your posting about Bt transgenics. It was pretty negative. I
guess time will tell whether your fears about Bt were well-founded.
Many people believe that the main application of genetic engineering of
crop species will gradually become manipulation of genes and metabolic
pathways within the species itself (non-transgenic bio-engineering).
How do you and others on the list feel about that approach?
