All

I am currently involved in a multi-disciplinary research project
examining "organic salmon". I am trying to find references for what
'organic' actually means. I am aware this is a term used in a wide
variety of contexts, but was wondering if anyone knew of any
information which discusses what is meant by organic, either as a
generic term or in a specific context - such as food production,
farming etc.

Any help would be much appreciated.
