Dan, I've got to disagree with your last paragraph.. Anyone who believes in what
you state in your FIRST paragraph, would do well to get his point of view on record
with the USDA withing the context of the Organic Rules commentary period. They are
NOT separate issues and OFPA's basic defects should be pointed out through official
channels to the USDA during time frame in which they are obligated to receive,
register and take into account the public's opinion. Your observations are
pertinent and can be included with any aditional comments you care to make regarding
specific aspects of the Rule, such as certification and the costs of same. Saludos.
