Lyman/Oprah food defamation trial updates on web

The food defamation trial of Howard Lyman & Oprah Winfrey starts Jan 20th
in Amarillo, Texas. The suit is the result of her April 15, 1996, show
discussing mad cow disease. Members of the Texas cattle industry said the
show caused beef prices to fall. Oprah has maintained she has the right to
discuss any topic of interest to her
audience. Ms. Winfrey's TV talk show will be broadcast from Amarillo for
