The North Central Region SARE program's Administrative Council has set aside
limited funds to provide "travel scholarships" for SARE's national
conference in Austin, Texas, March 5-6, 1998. (See
http://www.ces.ncsu.edu/san/10year/ for more information on the conference.)
Eligible individuals will include: North Central Region (IL, IN, IA, KS, MI,
MN, MO, ND, NE, OH, SD, WI) past and present SARE Administrative
Council/Technical Committee members, grant recipients/participants,
Extension educators and NRCS field personnel. Interested individuals must
show a need for assistance and have some tie to North Central Region SARE
grants or programs. Funding decisions will be made by the North Central
Region SARE Executive Committee.
Please reply to this message (Lisa Bauer) if you are interested in applying
for travel scholarships to SARE's conference.
