Whether you want to publicize your organization, educate voters, raise
money, or just draw people to an event -- this workshop is for you! In an
experiential setting, you'll discover creative ways to get the media's
attention and inspire people to take action. Participants are encouraged to
bring any press materials they may have, plus their media challenges and
questions.

Cost: $100 per person. Organizations that register 3 or more people are
eligible for a 10% discount. Some scholarships may be available from the
Environmental Support Center.

The Leadership Toolbox is a series of day-long seminars designed to help
community activists and nonprofit organizations enhance their management,
communications, and fundraising skills. Workshops are led by seasoned
nonprofit managers and trainers, and emphasize interactive learning so that
participants can network and learn from each other. Each seminar includes
take-home materials so participants can continue to build their skills
outside the classroom. The Leadership Toolbox, a project of the Institute
for Policy Studies, is funded in part by the W.K. Kellogg Foundation.
