Source on Attracting New Support Services for Crop Farmers

Thanks for your excellent help on my previous inquiry about attracting
new support services or businesses for crop farmers in the path of
growth. These businesses often leave as growth occurs and farmland is
lost. I am especially interested in finding a source with info on what
production amount is needed to attract businesses to support crop
farmers raising corn, wheat, and soybeans.

So here is my followup inquiry. Does anyone know a US Chamber of
Commerce or university contact especially informed about what is needed
to attract agricultural businesses. For example, what are the
requirements of such businesses as to the minimum amount of production
(number of bushels, etc.) of corn, wheat, soybeans? I'd appreciate
names and email addresses or phone numbers.

Are there any journal articles on this?

Do you know of any good creative ideas, such as combining selling farm
equipment with suburban equipment, to make such a business economically
viable? I'd appreciate receiving them. Thank you.
