(Fwd) USDA Docket # is crucial

Howdy all--

I received the info below from a Chicago area organics activist. I'm
not sure where she got it. If anyone knows that this information is
*not* so, would you please post here and let us all know.

I've looked on the NOP Web site and see nothing there in the
guidelines for submitting citizen comments to indicate a docket
number or a need to include one with one's comments.

Hi, again,

The latest information is that letters to the USDA must have the necessary
docket number on the letter and an address of the sender. Otherwiser the
USDA will not count the letter as received.

The docket number for letters re: organic integrity is TMD-94-00-2.
