Does anyone out there have statistics on the average NET profit on "minor
crop" farms, i.e. fruits and veggies?
I know in the grocery industry it's about 1% of gross sales. This obviously
indicates the need for huge volume to make any money.
I believe in retail (non-food) it's about 23%
