Allthough the rest of the western world takes this problem more serious
than the US don't think europe's trafficjams are less than yours, even
with fuelprices 3? times your prices ($ 1.10 $ per litre unleaded, $1.22
per litre leaded) The biggest savings are made by industry and home
isolation, promotion of fluorescent lighting, lighter cars etc.
Because of the higher energyprices heatingsystems are more efficient.
Energycompanies have campagnes to let people use LESS energy.
> We need to rediscover the pleasures of satisfying our needs close to home
> using solar energy, green plants and human creativity.
>
> Anything less is like rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic.
