The Role of Agricultural Information in Decision Making in Research and
Practice
A Joint Conference Sponsored by the Gesellschaft fur Bibliothekswesen und
Dokumentation des Landbaues (GBDL), the International Association of
Agricultural Information Specialists (IAALD) and the Technical Centre for
Agricultural and Rural Co-operation (CTA).
The Conference will serve as a forum for designing innovative strategies
and building new partnerships for dissemination of agricultural
information to managers and decisions makers. The objective of the
conference is to map sytems and sources along with the needs for
inforamtion in the area of decision making and management , match them and
forumlate proposals for effective information provision by information
professionals.
