I am a student from the University of Maryland, College Park and am
currently taking a class on sustainable agriculture. We are required to
do a term project on some aspect of this type of agriculture and my
partner and I picked organic certification as our topic. As a small
part of our project, we are going to discuss crop management strategies
for producing alternative crops, such as sprouts, mushrooms, maple syrup
and honey, organically. I was wondering if anyone could give us some
insight regarding this topic. Perhaps you could give us an example of
different strategies that you follow when producing these crops
organically versus conventionally. Thank you for your time.
Sincerely,
Susan Haebler
