Our company has worked with Iowa State University in the development of
this corn gluten technology and we are a licensee of this material.
There have been about 25 weed species screened for susceptibility to
corn gluten, but not Johnson grass. The material does have a fairly
broad spectrum of inhibition (preemergence only) on broadleaf and grassy
weeds.
As far as organic goes, we have yet to submit to any certifying
agencies, hoping that the federal standards would be implemented and
then we'll only need to submit once. It should be approved once
submitted. The active biochemistry is 100% corn derived.
If you like actual product labels etc., let me know.
