Yes the truth of the matter is that I don't feel I am doing anything
wrong that I need the state the federal gov the certifier the inspector
to all charge me money which I do not have to tell me something I already
know. I feel the organic grower is being asked to pay more than his fair
share and I say I am organic now let them pay to prove me wrong. I am
doing my part by farming organic. I and I alone bare the loss from
insect damage, and weed growth and even poison oak and feel that I should
not also be forced to have the burden of needless paper work and fees
that are not fair and these fees are not fair. . I don't care to debate
this bullshit act because I don't think the organic grower should pay one
extra cent because they chose growers organic and sell organic . If you
don't believe the grower you pay to prove he is not. I should not have to
pay to prove I am telling the truth. They could never get away with this
bull manure with synthetic chemicals farmers . One thing I got to say
about those farmers that inject their cows with genetic engineered growth
hormones they know how to keep their farming practices quite as skip.
them and the USDA are hand in hand about keeping the public in the dark.
The USDA is making up names now to call radiated food like electronic
pasteurization etc. to fool the public and fighting whole governments and
countries because they will not label rdna altered food yet they want to
burden organic growers with paper work fees and extra taxes for growing
and selling organic. . . You ask them and they will tell you in no
uncertain terms mind you own business how I farm is my business not
yours . If the USDA and the state of Ca. tried to put synthetic
chemicals farmers through what they are getting ready to put the organic
grower through the farmers and chemical companies would never let it get
this far. The poor organic grower does not have a chance I can see that.
The small business administration does not even recognize small farmers=20
as a small business and is letting the government level fees and paper on
the small organic farmer that small business people are supposed to be
protected from. How do they justify that bull manure. The USDA claims
to be helping small farmers. They even had a small farmer helper public
comments and we see what good that public comment did . they ask folks
what can we the USDA do to help the small farmer and what government
programs burden the small grower and how can we take away the burdensome
paper work and fees yet the next year they are forcing the small organic
grower into paying fees and doing tons of paper work . How does the USDA
that is suppose to be helping small farmers justify burdening them
instead? One week they are asking for ideas on how to make the small
farmers life bearable and how to cut down on paper work and how to stop
bureaucratic bull manure that may hurt the small grower and the next week
they are leveling fees on us. Is the bull manure or what? . The
<bigger>President himself said " <bigger>do not burden the small
business man</bigger> with fees and bureaucratic bull manure" and it
passed and is law yet they are making a law that does just that.=20
</bigger>is it true that the government speaks with a forked tong.
that they say one thing and mean another. that they say don't burden
the small business man with paper work and fees and mean let us make a
law that <bigger>will </bigger>burden the small business man
that will make him do tons of paper work and pay extra fees. can they
really single out the small organic grower and make his life harder than
it is already?=20
