Howdy, all--

Two Fridays ago I was taking digital photos of San Francisco for
folks in Dharamsala, northern India. This was in lieu of the Usual
Friday Afternoon Surfing Party here on the Third Coast. No
apologies intended. :^)

As I mentioned in my earlier e-mail, as I searched tonight on
"factory farms" for information, resources, and strategies for
various folks, I was intrigued to see that the large majority of the
hits were on animal rights sites.

Since I think it's always healthy to know how other people construct
and express their realities, regardless of how I feel about that, I
followed some of those links. I offer them here for those who would
like to do the same.

peace

This site includes a photo gallery of animals in factory farming
situations. One photo is an effort to caricature the slaughterhouse
worker as "the Embodiment of Evil."
