Ok...Buy the $280 dollar freezer...

750 - 280 = 470....you feel a little guilty...scrape up half the money
you saved..$235 and all this winter strategize...plot....scheme. How
can I take $235 and use it in a cold and calculating way to create a
more sustainable lifestyle.

Can your home become more energy efficient with weather stripping, some
up graded storm windows, more of that lovely pink fiberglas up in the
crawlspace?....too mundane?

How was your garden this year? Could some of that $235 go toward the
Farmin Army? Do you own a couple of scuffle hoes aka Hula hoes? Those
are just super handy tools for cultivating a garden or even a small
farm. If you don't know about them...find out...Or how about a little
seeder...you can get a new one or maybe at an auction an antique that is
ready to go back to work... For 235$ you could put up a sweet little
greenhouse....

Hey stop the show right here! Build yourself a nice little greenhouse!
If you put it a few feet from your home you can couple it to the house
during the winter via a door or window. You can make your house so damn
energy efficient...atleast when the sun shines... FUNK on a $750 dollar
freezer.

I would put a $750 dollar freezer right in the ranks of GREEN SAND. ;-}

Buying freezers is personal stuff so this rant is just an expression of
my limited opinion...
