do you realize that no one is telling chemical farmers they can not use a
portion of their land to grow crops because of their neighbors practices ?
Because they are telling me that I can use a strip of land along my fence
for organic crops because those around me may be using pesticides and
herbicide. I have a long skinny plot and this is quite a loss and it is
almost like they are taking my land without paying me. It looks to me that
at every turn they put the burden on the organic grower.
Why can't they say hey don't spray up to ten foot of this guy because he is
organic instead of the penalizing those that don't use chemicals . I have
to give up my land because i don't use chemicals I have to regester because
I don't use chemicals ,I have to join some little association because I don
't use chemicals I have to pay to be inspected just to be able to join this
association because I chose to grow and sell organic I have to pay both
state and feds because I grow and sell organic. Come on now !
