I am a small farmer.
Hopefully, you have some issues to discuss that really effect small farmers.
Certification cost of $200 to $400 are not important. Credibility in the
eyes of consumers is all important.
If all you are concerned about is the certification cost. You have made your
point clearly. If you are concerned about the paper work, check it out in the
Proposed Rule. And offer some comments. If you are concerned about too many
bureaucrats in the game, check it out, and make it so licensing is not too
large an intrusion on organic farming and handling. Someone needs to say
"stop crying and go to work."
