if you are interested in Entrepreneurial Agriculture and what it might
provide for sustainable agricultural systems.
The agenda for our upcoming meeting in Dyersburg, Tennessee is the first
big item on that web site.
Sara Vogel of North Dakota; Rob Myers, Randy Torgerson and Randy Williams
from Washington, D.C.; Paul Teague from Jonesboro, Arkansas; Dennis
Roedemeier from Jeff City; Tim Woods from Lexington, KY; Mike Powers with
FDIC in Memphis; Kristi Livingston from the National Coop Center in
Columbia, Missouri; Magid Dagher from Alcorn State, Herb Lawrence from
Arkansas State Small Business Development Center and others will be
speakers and discussants.
The conference has two goals: One is to jumstart a network of farmers,
enterprise facilitators and entrepreneurs interested in value-added
diversification. The second is to assess the needs and motivation for
training in entrepreneurial agriculture and, more broadly, systems
facilitation.
