Rosie, I don't have specific recommendations for you, but see below for
several sources of information about internship opportunities. Also, if
you have WWW access, try searching the sanet-mg archives for internship
postings (http://www.ces.ncsu.edu/san/).

The Alternative Farming Systems Information Center (AFSIC) at the
National Agricultural Library (NAL) in Beltsville, MD, USA, compiles
*Educational and Training Opportunities in Sustainable Agriculture*,
which contains internship opportunities as well as university-type
programs in sustainable agriculture. The most recent edition was
released in December 1996. You can request it in print, or it is posted
on the WWW (see information below).

Other lists of internships are maintained
by ATTRA (Appropriate Technology Transfer for Rural Areas)
1-800-346-9140; P.O. Box 3657, Fayetteville, Arkansas, 72702;
http://www.attra.org/

and by The Biodynamic Farming and Gardening Association (610-935-7797);
P.O. Box 550, Kimberton, PA 19442.
